2018 International Day of Sign Languages (IDSL) and International Week of the Deaf (IWDEAF)

 Theme: With Sign Language, Everyone is Included.

 International Week of the Deaf is an annual event, the only week for the Deaf to advocate and create awareness about Deafness and Deaf Culture. 

 This year's edition has International Day of Sign Languages attached for the very first time has approved by the United Nations.

 The theme; With Sign Language, Everyone is Included is all about communication , understanding, inclusion and respect for human rights. 

 Breaking communication barrier is indeed key to collaborative co-existence towards development at all levels.

 Every hearing person should align with the National slogan; "Change Begin with Me" by acquiring the knowledge of sign language towards breaking barrier of communication with the Deaf and promoting inclusion .

 The Deaf with unguarded sense of freedom doesn't portrait Deafness, it's a build up attitude caused by lackadaisical manner of mentoring towards them.  I was staring at a Pastor, staring at a chorister while they were ministering and they were like, why's he staring at me. I was too focused on a very beautiful lady while conversing and she thought this guy want to brew up something. I gave a guy's lips full concentration while he was delivering a speech, he was like, is this guy jealous of me. I always have issues with most female discussants, they always think otherwise whenever I opened my eyeballs wide and direct on their lips. 2017 INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF THE DEAF THEME: FULL INCLUSION WITH SIGN LANGUAGE International Week of the Deaf International Week of the Deaf is an initiative of World Federation of the Deaf; it’s the only week in a year that sees highly concerted global advocacy to raise awareness about the Deaf community on different levels. International Week of the Deaf is to strive to promote the human rights of the Deaf and highlight topics that merit attention.
